Our Process
01.
Scheduling
Message me through instagram, facebook, or through the contact me page here on the website. Tell me what kind of session you'd like to book and what day's you are available.
02.
Planning
Once I've responded to you're message and notified you to what day aligns best for me. I'm probably going to ask you a lot of questions to get to know exactly what kind of photos you're looking to get.
03.
The SESSION
After scheduling and talking, you've made it to the session! In our talks I've probably told you what to come prepared with, and all that's left is to do is take some pictures! No big deal!
04.
Getting Your Photos
It takes about a week or less for me to finish editing and formating the photos. Once their done, I'll probably upload them to your own client gallery, an online photo album just for you. (Or I could put them on a Usb, or Email them to you. Whatever works.)
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
My minimum amount of photos is 10 fully edited photos, for family and maternity sessions. If you are booking an event or wedding, 600+ photos. But I'll establish how many photos, and what kinds of photos you'd like in our talking/planning stage.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time to take photos of a newborn is typically within the first 10 days of life. During this time, babies are still very sleepy and tend to curl up naturally, which allows for more peaceful, posed photos. They are also more likely to stay calm and sleepy, making it easier to handle them for the session.
However, if you're aiming for more awake and alert shots, you can wait until the baby is about 2-3 weeks old, when they may start to have more facial expressions.
Just make sure to schedule the shoot when the baby is fed and well-rested to ensure they are comfortable throughout the session.
How should we dress for our family session?
Keeping everyone's colors in the same tone is usually better than all the same color. But if you all have colorful personalities why not show it with your clothes?
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes! I have had many families express this concern at the start of the session, but with time and fun prompts to help everyone get out of their shell, they always leave feeling confident.
Before I start taking pictures and giving orders, I want to get to know you! Find out what makes you laugh, and what doesn't. Every family is unique and deserves a unique experience!
